Wehrpass first issue to Unteroffizier Arthur Mehnert.

He served within the army from 1936 untill 1938 and rejoined the army from 26-8-1939 onwards to 1944.

- 1-8-1944 / 3-8-1944: 7./ Grenadier Regiment 102

He saw active service in Poland ‘39, Luxembourg & France ‘40, Russia ‘41-‘44.

On 3 August 1944 he was KIA in Latvia 1,5 km south-east of Meza Salas.

It comes with 3 separate papers. One wich confirms the Infanterie Sturmabzeichen, one wich was send to the relatives wich came with the Wehrpass wich was send back home.

One paper confirms 4 assaultdays or sturmangriffe for the Infanterie Sturmabzeichen on 1-7, 2-7, 6-7 and 7-7-1944 as a rifleman or gewehrschutze.

The Wehrpass is in good used condition.
