Soldbuch, first issue to Unteroffizier Peter Michel.

In daily life he was an salesman from Koln.

The Soldbuch opens at 26 January 1941 with Landesschutzen Kompanie 1/VI.

After his basictrainings and service with a Landesschutzen Battalion he became part of Sicherungs Battlion 638 wich was active as part of Heeresgruppe Nord and saw action in the Wolchow area east of Leningrad.
At 4 June 1943 he enters a hospital after being wounded for the first time: …. durchschuss finger.
He was awarded the same day! the Wounded Badge in Black.

At the end of the same month he was released from the hospital and became again part of an Landesschutzen unit.

In February 1945 he became part of Festungs Infanterie Battalion 1458 wich was active on the Ostfront.

With this unit he got wounded for the second time by schrapnell and enters a hospital at 4 March 1945. A few weeks later he was released from the hospital and returned to his old unit in April 1945.

He received an Italian Machine Pistol as stated on page 8 b on 20 April 1945. His unit fought around the Festung Gorlitz and Lauban were he was taken POW.

He also received the Fuhrergeschenk in 1943.

The Soldbuch is complete with all pages.
