Waffen SS Fahrlehrschein Der Fuhrer

Wehrmacht Fahrlehrschein to Hermann Raetz who was a member of 3.SS Panzergrenadier Regiment Der Fuhrer.

Dated 18-2-1940. 3 Months later this Regiment was involved in Operation Fall Gelb and attacked the Lowlands on 10 May 1940.

The Regiment fought in the Netherlands at the Grebbeberg were it had to increase a lot of casualties. Most probarly he must have been involved in these battles.

It also comes with a Betriebsberechtigungsschein and 2 pictures.

One really nice portraitphoto of him wich clearly shows the SS 3 tabs and DF shoulderboards.

The second picture shows him in front of a truck.

On the backside is written:

Rusland Juli 43

“Ein frischer trunk in grosser Hitze, auf dem Marsch zum suden. (Stalino)”

The both papers are in heavy used condition.
