Putz was a member of Nachrichten Abteilung 1 wich was part of the 1. Infanterie Division wich took part in operation “Fall Gelb” in May 1940.

The document was signed by Generalmajor and divisional commander of the 1. Infanterie Division Phillip Kleffel. (Rtk 1942, DKIG 1943)

Kleffel was the commander of the A.O.K 25 in the “Festung Holland” in 1945 and taken POW.
