Citation EK 2 – 15. Panzergrenadier Division Holland Westfront 1944

Citation to Gefreiten Baumann who was a member of 1./Pionier Battalion (mot) 33 wich was a motorized Pionier unit within the 15. Panzergrenadier Division.

The Division had previously fought In Holland (end of October and early November) togheter with the 9. Panzer Division in the area of Meijel.
After the attack was halted by the Allies the Division withdrawl from this area and was send towards the front around Geilenkirchen.

Most probarly for bravery shown in the Geilenkirchen area or around Meijel he was awarded the EK 2 on 8 December 1944.
