Citation KvK 2 with Swords OT-Einsatzgruppe Rusland-Nord 1944

Citation to Rottenfuhrer Beckford who served with the OT-Einsatzgruppe Rusland-Nord, Einsatz Hellmann.

Organisation Todt was a para military construction  unit wich extensively used POW, Jews and Eastern European civilians as forced labor under very bad conditions.

On 20 April 1944 he was awarded the Kriegsverdienstenkreuz second class with Swords.

• The Soviet city of Gatschina near Leningrad was renamed after him in Lindemannstadt between 1942 and 1944.
