Hoffmann was part of 6./Fallschirmjager Regiment 2 wich was active on the Dutch - German border in 1945.
After the Allied launched Operation Veritable on 8 February 1945 the troops pushed towards Germany.
Most part of the Fallschirmjager Regiment 2 fought at that time in the area of Ottersum - Gennep - Heijen - Bleijenbeek.
On 16 February 1945 he got wounded for the 5th time and was brought to an hospital.
On 22 February 1945 he was awarded the Wounded badge in Gold.
Used condition, has been folded.
