Citation to Oberleutnant Hermstedt who was a member of Panzerjager Abteilung 171 of the 71. Infanterie Division.

The Abteilung was equipped with Italian “Beutepanzer”.

On 27 August 1944 he got wounded for the third time while fighting south of Rimini in the area of Pergola and Urbino in Italy and was awarded the Wounded badge in Silver.
