Deathcard St. Lo – Normandy – 352. Infanterie Division

Deathcard to Gefreiter Alfred Kerscher.

Kerscher was part of 3. Kompanie Grenadier Regiment 915 of the 352. Infanterie Division.

The 352. ID was one on the Division wich was defending the Normandy coast on D-day wich became later known as Omaha beach. After d-day the Division withdrawn towards St. Lo and defended the area north of it.

On 30-6-1944 he died near St. Lo in the vicinity of Le Mesnil-Rouxelin.

Nowdays he rests on the German war cemetery of Marigny.
