Award document and medal grouping to an SS Sturmmann who served within the Begleitskompanie of the 10. SS Panzer Division Frundsberg.
On 15 July 1944 he was awarded the EK 2 for bravery shown on the battlefield. At that time the Division was fighting for the infamous Hill 112 against the British 11. Armoured Division.
The document was signed by SS Oberfuhrer and divisional commander Heinz Harmel. It comes with and EK 2 medal wich was manufactured by maker 65 = Klein & Quenzer.
On 10 August he got wounded for the first time and was awarded the Wounded badge in Black on 23 August 1944 in a hospital in Darmstadt. It comes with the Wounded badge in Black medal wich was manufactured by maker 81 = Augustin Prager.
Both medals and documents are in worn condition.
Hard to find and very desirable grouping related to the fightings for Hill 112!
