A small grouping to Unteroffizier Wick who served as an fighterpilot within Jagdgeschwader Udet in 1944.

The Jagdgeschwader Udet flew with the Messerschmitt Bf109 G-6 wich was equipped with a 30 mm cannon.

On 20 July 1944 Unteroffizier Wick was involved in a dogfight with an Allied Spitfire and was shot down 35 km south -south west of Rouen near Amfreville-la-Campagne.
According to other sources he died near Bray, 18 km East of Bernay.

Nowdays he rests on the German military cemetary of St. Desir-de-Lisieux.
