Hitlerjugend group Died at Gardelegen 1945

A small grouping to an member of the Hitlerjugend.
He was a member of Hitlerjugend Bann 256 based in Northeim.

He was awarded/qualified with several things;

- Hitler Jugend Leistungsabzeichen in Silver (can be seen on the photo’s)

- Funkschein der NSFK (National Sozialistische Flieger Korps)

- D.L.R.G.

- Schiess Abzeichen der Deutsche Jugend

- Reichsschwimmerschein

A small paper states that he had died on 13 May 1945 in Gardelegen.

A month prior to his death on 13 April 1945 a massacre took place at Gardelegen in wich 1016 people died.
The victims were prisoners of KZ Mittelbau and had “survived” the deathmarch before being rounded up in a barn wich was set on fire by members of the Volkssturm, Landesschutzen, Fallschirmjager, Waffen SS and Hitlerjugend members!

I haven’t found more info upon his death and/or if the date of his death is correct.

He could have been involved in these massacres.

4. 5 x Postcardsize photo’s. 3 as HJ Flakhelfer with the HJ Leistungsabzeichen vissible.
