Soldbuch first issue to Wachtmeister der Reserve Heijns.
In daily life he was a construction painter.
The Soldbuch opens at 31-8-1939 with 5./Reserve Flak Abteilung 262.
During the war he served with several Flak units.
From 1-6-1943 onwards he served with 2./Leichte Flak Abteilung 774.
With this unit he fought on the Eastfront. In September 1944 he was awarded the EK 2 for bravery shown on the battlefield.
Awarded by the 15. Flak Division wich was then active in Hungary.
