The Soldbuch opens at 27 February 1941 with Schutzen ersatz Kompanie 2./452.

After his basictrainings he became part of Infanterie Regiment 507 wich was attached to the 292. Infanterie Division.

The Division was part of Heeresgruppe Mitte and took part in the attack on Moscow and during the summer of 1943 in Operation Citadel or the battles at Kursk.

1. Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber, 8-8-1942. Signed by Oberst Hahne commander of the  Grenadier Regiment 507.

DKIG 10-2-1944, Knightscross 10-2-1942

2. EK 2, 5-9-1942. Signed by the commander of the 292. Infanterie Division Wolfgang von Kluge (the younger brother of Generalfeldmarschal Gunther von Kluge)

Knightscross 29-3-1943. He surrendered in the Dunkirk Fortress

3. Wounded badge in Silver for a first wounding on 26-9-1943 and was awarded on 4-12-1943.

4. Nahkampfspange in Bronze, 24-12-1943. Signed by Oberst Hahne commander of the  Grenadier Regiment 507.

The Soldbuch is missing the photo and page 21-22.
