Soldbuch Schwere Artillerie Abt. 108 – Panzer Lehr Division Westfront

Soldbuch to Obergefreiter Guthseel.

The Soldbuch opens in 1940.

He served with several Artillerie training units before being send to an fieldunit;

- Schwere Artillerie Abteilung 108

This unit was equipped with 10 cm and 15 cm battery’s and fought on the Eastfront.

In 1943 the unit was renamed to;

- leichte Artillerie-Abteilung (RSO) /108

It was equipped the Raupenschlepper-Ost or R.S.O.

Small tracked vehicles to tow the guns.

Somewhere in 1944 he became part of:

- 2./Panzergrenadier Lehr Regiment 902 wich was part of the Panzer Lehr Division wich fought on the Westfront.

The Soldbuch is in used condition, complete with all pages.

The photo has been re-used (and re-stamped correctly) and bears multiple stamps.

The edges have been cut-off a little bit. Most probarly to make it fit into a cover I guess.
